is presenting an opportunity to
“learn what you are afraid to ask about planning your financial
future.” The
presenters will be Jon Pruner and James Yonker with Waddell &
Reed, a highly rated financial planning firm that works
with our Trust Fund Committee. Here is a summary of
their credentials:
Jon Pruner, CMFC, Senior
Financial Advisor, with 33 years of Financial Experience, who
has been leading Stewardship Workshops for 18 years. He is
President of Local Financial Planning Chapters – FPA; and, hosts
a weekly TV Program, “You and Your Money” for Time Warner.
In addition,
Jon works with a number of churches in the area providing a
Christian based philosophy in the financial guidance he provides
to his clients. He is an Illinois State Scripture Chairman -
Gideon’s International Bible; a Moderator CBMC – Christian
Business Men’s Committee; and the Head Usher at his own church
at which he assists with communion and pastoral visits.
James Yonker, AAMS, a Financial
Planner, is Jon’s partner, with 10 years industry experience.
James graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree
in Economics. He has been involved in leading workshops for 9
years. He also is a devoted Christian and a Finance Deacon.

extensive question & answers. They will
provide simple explanations in plain English eliminating
confusing financial terms. They specialize in providing
Christian advice to Christian families.

& calculations

Retirement

IRA, Government
Employee Plan, Individual 401(k), SEP – Simplified Employee
Pension, simple IRA, 403(b) Non-profit, Governmental 457 Plan,
Non-Governmental 457 Plan including rollovers and transfer
assistance.
They will discuss
the probability of success as well as provide examples of
various success stories, i.e., how their clients accumulated
wealth using their techniques.
Do you need insurance?
Do you know what type of insurance? They will discuss your
choices: Whole Life, Universal Life, Variable Universal Life,
Term Life and Trust Insurance.
In addition, would you like to know more about disability
insurance and when to purchase Long Term Care insurance and what
type - self insurance, individual policies, insurance riders and
annuity riders?
Last but not least, you will
learn how to reduce your taxes and to fund higher education for
your children's' education- 529 Plans, Coverdell ESA, and UGMA /
UTMA Accounts.
