Plant Talks II with the St. Andrew’s Garden Gals
We are closing out the gardening year with one final program. This presentation will cover late summer flowers  and spring bulbs. If you are interested in discovering what blooms this time of year and how to select spring bulbs, join us for this presentation. The St. Andrew’s Garden Gals will cover plant and bulb selection, cultivation, and many other interesting plant-related topics.  The Plant Talks are a fundraiser for the Landscaping fund and the Church Operating Budget. The talks will be lead by Debbie Wilderman, Rolle Burgeson, and Mary Jane Haley.  All three are committee members of the Garden Club of Downers Grove. This last Plant Talk will be on September 18th from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at 5623 Lee Ave.  Debbie Wilderman will be leading the presentation with descriptions of the most popular plants.  The program is intended to be held outside so be sure to dress appropriately.  Light refreshments will be served. Look for the sign-up sheet in the Gathering Space.

PAY YOUR ANNUAL PLEDGE WITH CHECKING ACCOUNT OR CREDIT CARD
In this online and electronic financial society, giving to Saint Andrew’s by this method can really make a lot of sense. Not only is it quick and easy, but often there are benefits to online giving that traditional check and cash giving don't offer. The fact that so many people appreciate the option of electronic payment, Saint Andrew’s has now decided to offer these options. Click HERE for information on the Pledge Plan.

“The Episcopal Café is collaborative effort by more than two dozen writers and editors, and an ever-growing list of visual artists. Together, we aspire to create a visually appealing, intellectually stimulating, spiritually enriching and at least occasionally amusing website where Episcopalians and those interested in our church can read, watch, listen and reflect upon contemporary life in a context informed by faith and animated by the spirit of charity.”
