CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
FOR ADULTS
In recognition that all Christians
should be
life-long learners, several opportunities
are offered for
adult learning.
Sunday
Morning Adult Formation:
Various topics (i.e. church history, current issues, parenting,
etc.) will be offered for discussion between the
services from 9:15-9:50 a.m. Watch the Sunday Bulletins and
Crosscurrents to learn more about them.
Lectionary Study:
This group
meets between the Sunday services at 9:15 to review the day’s
readings and encourage discussion and reflection on them.
Wednesday
Night Out:
This is a monthly event that includes a potluck supper followed by a
short time of learning, service or fun.
Thursday
Morning Bible Study:
This group meets following the
9:00 a.m. Eucharist on the first, third and fourth Thursdays of the
month from approximately 9:30-10:30. The Gospel of Luke is
currently being studied. All are welcome.
Women’s
Bible Study:
This group meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of
the month and is open to all Women
Inquirer’s
Class:
These classes are offered periodically to provide an overview of the
Christian Life and the customs and traditions of the Episcopal
Church. The opportunity to be Confirmed or Received in to the
Episcopal Church is offered at the end of this series of classes.
